Bossard began her career in the commercial seafood industry in 1999, when she started working as a crew member on the F/V Sunset, a 65' halibut schooner that has been a into a salmon tender for Murat Aritan, an commercial fisherman from 1993. Bossard has been married Aritan. They have now joined forces and are claiming their respective fields. They are supporters of conservative and profitable renewable seafood resource management. Otolith was established in Philadelphia in the year 2000 by Bella Bossard, now mother to two kids with ages of 3 and 1 Bossard.
