Her home is with her family in Beverly Hills, California with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel's former husband Richard Harris has passed away after only 8 years of marriage and twenty years divorce. Turkel was born to an ethnically Jewish family, and was raised through her maternal grandmother in Manhattan. When she reached the age of 16, she was in the midst of studying with Sanford Meisner and Philip Burton, both at the Neighborhood playhouse and in the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Ann was first noticed when she performed at the Vogue Fashion Show with her group. Diana Vreeland, the editor in chief at Vogue Magazine, had Ann shoot her first Vogue magazine cover in just two days. Ann became one of the most sought-after models of all time and her work was featured in the most prestigious fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann began her international career with Europe and Japan following her modeling stint on behalf of Max Factor Revlon.
